These doors are stocked in 1 3/4 and 1 3/8 thickness, in a fiber
solid core. To say they are exterior is not completely accurate.
A Lumber core door would be the correct door for exterior use,
however the cost is prohibitive.
The solid core doors noted here are ok for exterior use as long as
they do not see a lot of water or moisure. Paint them all six sides with an oil based paint.
Note: Our A and B grades may be premachined for hinges and knobs
and may not fit your existing frame. Time to buy a chisel!
See next item for 1 3/8 thickness, which is used particularly for
kitchen and basement entry doors in old homes in the city.
